No sign of hotel was really hard to find, automated check in. The bedding was all stained. Only good thing I can say was the location.

Quite possibly the worst hotel in this city...
I've used hotels.com for 3 years and never left a review, except for now. Bottom line- Terrible. Some of which is their fault, some not. Don't ruin your vacation by staying here. Pay and extra $10 bucks a night and get a way better place. Learn from my mistake. Their fault: 1. Room is not a room. Its a bed. Don't let the pictures fool you with a nice window and floor space. 2. Room, and hallways, had bugs (roaches), and smelled. 3. Wifi is either great, or non-existent. There was a whole night where it just didn't work whatsoever. 4. Got my reservation mixed up. Had to switch rooms. Just unorganized. What's not their fault: 1. The elevator is a REAL problem. There is 1 elevator, and at times, you'll have to wait 20-30 min in non-AC room to get it either up or down. 2. The building is about as low socio-economic area as possible. Great if you want to buy drugs, but otherwise, not somewhere you'd ever want to hang out voluntarily. I'm a single male so its fine, but if you're a female, don't do it.

Clean, safe, affordable
Need a clean, safe bed at a reasonable price in an expensive district in a very expensive City ? Here it is. Need fancy stuff that you won't really use ? Go next door to one of the big chains. Somewhat hard to find but just ask for "Chungking Mansion" and once you get there, ask for "Block E". Be prepared for a wait on the elevators (use the one in the left that goes to the even numbered floors, or the one on the right that goes to odd numbered floors and walk up or down a floor...whichever line is shorter). There's a good Indian/Turkish restaurant downstairs and a coin laundry. What more do you really need ?

Great location, worth every penny
Great location right in the centre, 10 mins walk to the star ferry and within walking distance to all the top things to do such as the night markets. A little annoying to get to as there was always a wait for the lift but for the price and considering it’s Hong Kong I would highly recommend to anyone on a budget! Room small but comfortable, air con, shower and lots of plugs for charging, also good free WiFi!

チェックインに人か居ないのは構わないけど指定通りドアのコールをしても返事が無く、なかなか繋がらなかった。その後もカードキーを受けとるのにも時間かかかり、30分くらいはロスしたのでこの点は改善して欲しい。
