"The private onsens are free and fantastic, outdoor affairs with a view to the surrounding forest. The public onsen is quite simple, nothing exciting. Dinner is unbelievably huge and diverse (OMG!), breakfast is fantastic too. Staff is amazingly polite and helpful, rooms are beautiful and comfortable (a minibar fridge would be the perfect final touch)"

"The onsen was nice. We booked a room for 4 people, and for the price we paid, the room was very disappointing. The bathroom was tiny. The facilities were old. There was hardly any space after laying out the beds for 4. The hotel overall is quite dated and was not worth the high price."
