Johan and Riccardo working at the reception when I checked in were very respectful and accommodating and did everything right so this negative review is NOT their fault. The first problem was that during the night the ventilation went off and the room got very warm and sticky and I was unable to sleep. However, I was willing to look past this despite having rights as a paying customer. So it will be easy to understand my disappointment when I was then later being told by the female employeee at the reception who worked there until 11 pm that I was not allowed to wait in the lounge after having gone back to get my bag and missing my train and waiting for a reservation at another Hotel to go through because this Hotel had no more rooms available. After all, I have stayed at this Hotel several nights in the past and was not causing a nuisance to anyone. I was not even helping myself to water or coffee in the lounge at that time because I had bought my own. So telling me that I had to leave for NO reason in front of many other guests in the Lounge was just so unnecessarily rude that I will never stay at this Hotel again unless I receive an apology. It's how we are treated when things are not going perfectly, not how we are treated when we need no help that really matters and shows us if a Hotel is worth choosing in the future.

10/10 recommend! The room was very nice and spacious, the A/C worked great, the bed was comfortable, and the view of the river and Le Petit France from our room was beautiful. The staff was also very friendly and provided a helpful map of the city upon arrival. If we’re fortunate enough to visit Strasbourg again, we’ll definitely book here again.

Staff were helpful, warm and polite

Clean room, maybe slightly outdated. Air conditioning isn’t really air conditioning, just blows air. Much cooler to open the door to the balcony which was a lovely touch. Mini fridge for our own drinks and a whole mini kitchen with plates, cutlery and cups etc. you could even cook there if you wish. Bathroom was separate to the toilet which was great. Lovely soft beds. Tv was just basic local channels but didn’t bother us. Overall really good value for money. We ended up paying 2 euros for parking on the public spots outside.
