The knotty pine interior speaks to classic Maine cottages, and all the furniture - apparently made by the owner - are exquisite. One thing older or disabled renters need to be aware: the bedrooms are upstairs, and going to the bathroom or kitchen from there requires walking down a winding staircase. We needed to ask...

The space was equipped with everything we needed and David’s guide to the house and area set us up very well. When we did have a question, he was quick to respond. The location is very private while still being in close proximity (by Maine’s standards) to many great trails, beaches, restaurants and towns. The interior split level made for a fun experience for adults and kids....
