![Marshall Point Lighthouse is located near the fishing village of Port Clyde, Maine.  The Lighthouse property includes the wonderful light, connected via the long wooden runway to the property, a lovingly-restored Keeper’s House, as well as welcoming grounds and complimenting gardens. In The Keeper’s House, there is an extensive museum housing exhibits centered on the lighthouse as well as a historic look into the industries and life on our peninsula.  
As an interesting detail, in the movie “Forest Gump” Tom Hanks concluded his long run on the lighthouse runway.
There is “limited” but adequate parking available with easy access to the grounds and Museum.

« My husband and i fell in love with this gorgeous cabin in the woods with ocean/tides view . This place was brand new and wow it was like joanna Gaines from magnolia channel decorated it and designed the features and layout, straight out of a magazine dream So stunning blonde wood floors and pale pine ( i think walls .high ceilings every room was so charming and beautiful and clean wow now for the views floor to ceiling windows and skylights looking at the pine trees and ocean cove with the most...

« if you are looking for some peace and quiet - and a relaxing coastal getaway, this property is perfect. It's just like the pictures, located in a beautiful field with sweeping views of an inland tidal bay with grass paths cut through the fields to the waters edge. One of the highlights of the property is the nearby beach (7 minutes walk or 1 minute drive), which is only visited by a few locals.....very cool retro beach!The property owner (Chip) was great to work with - gives you all the inside...

« This was the most beautiful little cottage! The setting was quiet and serene. Loved sitting on the deck in the morning with coffee just enjoying the trees and birds. We were fascinated watching the tide. The location was great for taking day trips to Camden and Acadia, and the host was very responsive to questions. Would highly recommend. »

« Great house in a great location. We were greeted by loons calling when we arrived, and the proximity to the lake was a huge plus for us. It was a really quiet and peaceful spot, with great stars at night. Great hiking nearby. Close to Camden and Rockland and Rockport, and we loved the Hope General Store too. »

« We had a truly wonderful stay at David’s Coastal Cabin! It is a beautiful space with a gorgeous view of the water. The space was equipped with everything we needed and David’s guide to the house and area set us up very well. When we did have a question, he was quick to respond. The location is very private while still being in close proximity (by Maine’s standards) to many great trails, beaches, restaurants and towns. The interior split level made for a fun experience for adults and kids....

"Hôtel très bien pour dormir. Toute était propre dans notre chambre. Le petit déjeuner n'était pas complet et pas à notre goût. Petit café juste à côté ainsi qu'un restaurant en face, donc bien situé. Parfois quelques odeur de weed même si c'est sensé être non fumeur alors ça nous à dérangé. "
