"Planned a trip up to see the Holland Tulip Festival and wanted a place to stay with more of a ‘home’ feel to it, and also fairly close to the festivities, but not in the heart of it. This was the perfect place for us; spacious, comfortable rooms, wooded area, and a nice place to relax. One bathroom was tough, but we made a schedule and it worked. Loved the sliding doors off main bedroom and dining room to the back deck! The house had plenty of extra blankets for the rooms if needed, lots of bathroom towels, and everything needed in the kitchen for cooking and meals. Very much enjoyed our stay here for 5 days, would definitely book here again."

"We rented this property for its 3 bedrooms and beach access. The views are spectacular. There are 2 patios, one connects to the house and one 1/2 way down the staircase to the beach. Upper patio had a nice fire pit for s’mores and a barbecue with a very nice grill top. The kitchen had plenty of utensils and cookwares to prepare a full meal. Plenty of dishwashing detergent and washing machine detergent. Downstairs has big picture windows and very comfortable furniture (looks new) with a full bathroom. The stairs are very steep up to the second floor. All 3 bedrooms are on upper floor. The bedrooms have comfortable mattresses and lots of pillow options The bedrooms are very tight. The beautiful sloped roof causes slanted celings, requiring adults to stoop to get into bed. One bedroom (queen bed) is pushed up against a wall, so you only have one sided entry into the bed. There are 2 bathrooms on the second level. Both are accessed from the hall. One is just a toilet and sink built into a sloped corner that again requires a bit of contorting. The main bathroom is small, but very functional with plenty of towels for the shower. The third bedroom has 2 bunk beds-fabulous for small kids, but would be very tight for adults. We very much enjoyed this property for a small family gathering. It is NOT a property if you are mobility challenged because of the steep driveway, stairwell and beach access. The layout demands you spend your time downstairs or outside!"

"This is a great property with plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay next to Lake Michigan. You're just a short walk and some stairs away from Lake Michigan (and fantastic sunset views), and the property itself is nestled between Holland to the south and Grand Haven to the north. The house itself is clean and well maintained, comfortably furnished, and offers plenty of room to relax, cook meals, and hang out. While we didn't get to use the patio because of the weather, when it's warmer out, there's plenty of room to take all of that outside with a grill and seating on the deck. The property team was also super helpful in getting ready for our stay, and instructions arrived in a timely manner and were very clear. When I had an issue accessing something online ahead of my stay, they responded quickly and effectively and I never once had any concerns about our stay and the check-in and check-out processes. Overall, we loved our stay here and would highly recommend this place for a getaway to Lake Michigan."

"House is in a good location near beach access and deck has very nice view of the sunset. Good access to both Grand Haven and Holland which were desired destinations. Quiet neighborhood led to fun family times on beach and deck."

"My boyfriend and I LOVED this property! It’s gorgeous, spacious, and private. I found the hanging tent incredibly comfortable! Bathroom was clean and actually smelled very nice! Owner was kind enough to share a list of local attractions! We loved exploring the area and especially enjoyed Rosy Mound. If you want to go pack light and prepare for a long hike with steps! Totally worth it for the amazing view and less crowded beach! 10/10 would recommend this spot for a nice private camping trip"

"First the good: clean as a whistle. Great location. A good setup for our group. Cons: inadequate kitchen linens. Two bar rags for each kitchen. No dish towels. No dish pan. The mattresses were waaay past their prime and insufficient bed linens. We should have figured it out ahead of time but there’s no ac so bring fans . The weather was perfect so it wasn’t a real problem for us but if it was hot it would’ve been awful."

"The lake and beach were so beautiful! The house was great to except for the electrical problems that caused the breaker to trip. We couldn’t have two appliances on at the same time in the kitchen or a breaker would trip and that caused the TV and internet to go out! We moved things around and made it work. The refrigerator was the biggest problem. It is old and was not adequate for a 14 person stay . Water leaked on everything and there was a puddle in the bottom of the fridge everyday I would recommend grocery shopping everyday for your food needs if you have a big group. Also kayaks and paddle boards were advertised and there were no boards and 2 of the three kayaks were leaky Lastly, it was cloudy and rainy a lot so we were inside a bit and having hooks for hoodies and towels woul have been awesome"
