"The location was wonderful, and the interior design was clearly professional and very upgraded. The beds were comfortable. We had one minor issue, which was resolved very quickly. It was not clear ro us that the main living quarters were on the second floor, which caused a problem for our guest with mobility issues. However, we certainly hope to return to this property again."

"The property has stunning views of Lake Michigan and the walk to the beach was perfect for small children-no steep stairs. The kitchen was stocked with aluminum foil, Saran Wrap, garbage bags, dish soap, etc. There were plenty of towels (both bathroom and beach) for the entire family.The outdoor patio and grill area were large enough for our entire family to sit comfortably.Overall this property is a solid choice. My only complaint is there are no window coverings in the downstairs lower level bedrooms. This was a struggle in the evenings because the children were in the bedrooms and the sun doesn’t set until late. It was hard to make the room dark enough for them to get to sleep."

"Absolutely perfect! Great layout (for us). Full view of Lake Michigan. Exceptionally clean and stocked with everything anyone could need--and it all looked brand new!! Everyone liked their bed except Grandpa--firm yet a bit too soft??? Great communication with host. Sandy Point Beach House continues to serve delicious meals just a quick drive down the hill. Not that anyone has control over this, but this is the widest beach in any rental area that we've found--most areas have lost a lot of beachfront in the past several years.As listed in the description, this is NOT an ADA accessible place, and also could possibly pose minor difficulty getting into the house (up 5-8 stairs, depending which entrance). I would point out to the owner or managing company that there needs to be an adjustment made to the level of the ground at the base of the rear stairs...either fill dirt or a wooden platform. For those who aren't particularly agile, there IS a way to get to the beach without crossing the dunes (which we knew from previous experience at a neighboring house)--but it does involve stair-climbing (on the best laid-out stairs...you get a breather platform every 2-3 steps!), plus a walk around the next-door play area and canal boardwalk. Grandma could go down the 1st dune, and then cut over using the path, but used the "safer route" going back up; Grandpa used the safe route to go down and up; kids used dunes down and up. We are definitely coming back!"

"Perfect location with amazing views of Lake Michigan. We even saw deer playing on the beach! Loved that the house was lake front and close to Holland. We were very pleased with our first trip to the area and plan to return!"

"Really amazing property in a really amazing location. We really felt like we had the whole beach to ourselves most days. On another, we met a family who have been coming to the area for literal decades and they took us out on their aqua cat. We had a very restorative stay and our dog enjoyed watching all the beach and woods activities from the amazing deck. "
