"Took my grandson for a weekend trip to Smith Island to celebrate his HS graduation. My daughter, also, accompanied us, since I am a 90 year old "Grammy", and need some assistance. Our cottage was clean, comfortable and had all of our needs. The host, Kim, was extremely attentive, and made our dinner the night we arrived so we could just relax. "This house was advertised as being able to fit 8 people. All 3 bedrooms had very worn out mattresses. The sleeper sofa was missing springs. Two of our family members had to sleep on the floor and an air mattress we purchased. There was not enough dinnerware and silverware for 8 people. The bar stool (for extra seating ) was so wobbly that no body dared to use it for fear of breaking. The deck would have been nice, if there was a dining table and four more chairs (there were 2 dining chairs...
