You can enjoy strolls through the village, visit nearby historical churches, and experience Georgian hospitality in a relaxed environment. The best time to go to Kimotesubani is during the late spring (May to early June) and early autumn (September to October) when the weather is most pleasant.

During these months, you'll experience comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 18°C to 25°C, making it ideal for exploring the natural beauty and historical sites without the intense heat of summer or the chill of winter. The countryside surrounding Kimotesubani is particularly picturesque in late spring with blooming wildflowers and in early autumn when the foliage begins to change colour. This period is great for couples or solo travellers who enjoy outdoor activities like hiking and visiting vineyards, as the conditions are excellent for leisurely strolls and wine tasting tours.

Summer (July and August) can also be a good time, especially if you enjoy warmer weather, with temperatures often reaching 30°C or higher. This season is popular for families due to school holidays. The region's rivers and lakes offer opportunities for refreshing dips, and many local festivals take place during these months, providing a lively cultural experience. However, it can be quite busy, and accommodation might require booking well in advance.

Winter (November to April) is generally colder, with snow common from December to March, particularly in the higher elevations. While some may appreciate the winter landscape, many outdoor activities become less accessible.
