The downstairs area was lovely nice bright modern and The staff was wonderful and helpful But our room was dated the furniture was poor and the leather Sofa was old and sunken very uncomfortable The room was dark all the time extremely hot the fan was on constant day and night It's a lovely size room and would cost much to modernise it by replacing old tatty furniture and adding a couple of pictures large window faced on to back of building and was extremely mucky my advice would put some window privacy screen on it better then looking at other old mucky windows and ventilation tubes No hairdryer in the room went down to reception for one reception said would fetch one up still never received it so kids went to bed with damp hair But the room was clean and the breakfast was fantastic

Wonderful staff. For some reason, I was assigned the handicap room. This is a solid three star hotel. Not fancy but comfortable. Unfortunately, not much to do around it unless you have a car. Impressive Scotch and Single Malt collection with over 300 expressions.

10/10 for families
