Fabulous respite from adult problems

Spacious 2 bedroom unit with well appointed kitchen and so many wonderful amenities like beach chairs and toys. Ateps from the pool, ground floor unit was easy to get in and out of. The shaded latio was a great place to enjoy the weather and have a snack. Absolutely everything we needed or wanted was there, tha k you fkr a wonderful stay.

Location, location, location!

We were right across the road to the beaches and watched beautiful sunsets from our patio! The rental was very clean, well stocked, comfortable and had lots of beach chairs, umbrella and boogie boards. Ground access was awesome for loading and unloading our goods. The pool area and grounds of the complex were very well cared for and attended to. The barbeque area was well maintained and clean. Garbage trucks picked up every 2 days. We would definitely recommend this unit and if we were to return to Maui this is where we would stay.

Excellent location, ants aren't great

The location can't be beat -- steps across from the beach for some stunning sunsets, and a nice cross-breeze in the evenings. Overall acceptable finishes, decently clean, and comfortable beds. As a first floor unit with the Lanai door open half the day, you expect a couple of bugs to make their way in from time to time. What we didn't expect was ants in the kitchen, that seem to live within the very old cabinets and tile countertops. There were traps in every drawer, which means this is a known issue, but it was annoying (also didn't like the idea of whatever chemicals are in the traps being on the silverware/dishes) and we had to keep all unsealed food in the fridge to keep it under control. Even then they would still be wandering around on the countertop. This was a work trip, and we had people rotating in every couple of weeks during a 2-month period. It was fine, it served its purpose, but hopefully the owners deal with the ants soon.

Great Location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The beach just across the street is perfect and had the most beautiful sunsets! The only thing that would have improved our stay would have been a portable air conditioner to cool down in the heat of the day. 😊

The property was very clean. Staff responded quickly to any concerns or questions we had. It was a bit warm without AC during the summer months though. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay with great beach access!

Not kid friendly!

The room itself was fine although we had two fans that did not work and the beds were very uncomfortable as well as the pillows. The property itself was tougher with kids. The rules are not kid friendly. There is a great grass area that the kids could not toss a football in or toss anything. They have a no flying object rule anywhere on property. The pool is also not kid friendly with many many rules and it is very difficult with kids to allow them to be kids. The pool is for swimming but not for fun. Even when we had the pool to ourselves the resident manager popped in many times to recite the "rules" to us. They ahve many average rules and then the added rules were more like a senior home and are definitely catered towards an older crowd. The next door property Kamola Sands will be where we stay next we went and checked out there rules and asked questions and is much more kid friendly. We do not recommend this spot unless you are an older couple without kids. Although this room #110 the beds gave us all horrible back aches so we suggest they consider changing the mattresses and upgrading the pillows a bit. The cleanliness was fine but we did have to clean when we arrived and wipe things down. We enjoyed being across from the beach and the convenience of the shops and restaurants so close. Maui is beautiful so not much could take away from the beauty of this island and we will be back soon!

We were disappointed in the condition of the condo, most specifically the lack of cleanliness and counters covered in bugs. Also, we were also highly disappointed in the lack of customer service from the people we spoke to in regards to the subpar condition of the condo. We were supposed to receive a phone call and/or email regarding some type of refund and have yet to hear from anyone from Vacasa. Based on this experience, I will personally never be staying at a Vacasa property again. And I will discourage any of my friends and family from doing so as well. Very poor business practices and not at all what I paid my money for.

Really nice place with a great location. Needed a good thorough cleann though. There were a lot of bugs in the kitchen and we cleaned most of the condo after we got in because it wasn't done very well.

Very nice property. Clean and tidy with most of what you need to stay and do most of your meals in.

The property was nice with a modern decor, they gave you what you need to stay and have meals in. There was one negative though. The bed in the master bedroom was awful. The mattress was a bit soft, which isn't an issue but the wooden frame was terribly squeaky. One slight movement (rolling over or just readjusting your position in bed) and the bed squeaked loud enough to wake up both people. Risky to do anything in this bed or they would hear you down at the beach!! My wife and I slept terribly because of this. The frame needs replacing. The location is great, you're on the sand in a 3 minute walk across the street! And parking is close. The fact that the property was on the ground floor was a big bonus as it saved a lot of time not having to go around the building and up the stairs or elevator. Going to and from the beach and your car was a breeze! All in all a great stay and I would stay again, if they replace the bed.

Spent a week at this lovely property. Everything was clean and tidy. Kitchen is well stocked with nice pans. Just footsteps to the gate to the pool. Lovely table out on the patio for morning breakfasts and coffee. DIRECTLY across the street from Kam 3 which is just a great beach. Nice to be able to open the back entry door (lock the screen) and feel the cool breeze flow through. Ceiling fans in every room that were very quiet. Bedrooms spacious. Highly recommend this property. We had a great week in Kihei

Beautiful condo and property...BUT

The condo was beautiful, the walk to the beach was under 2 mins. My only problems were surrounded by other condo owners. It's similar to renting a house with the property owner above your head. Constantly telling you, ridiculous stuff as if your a tourist and don't know better. "Close the BBQ Hood" "don't eat near the pool" "do you need to press your key alarm every time you park?" Also if you plan on swimming in the pool with your children, make sure your kids stay extra still and don't make a sound. The rules on the gate say - no horseplay, no marco-polo, no eating, no drinking, no splashing, no yelling, all hair must be in ponytail, no cannonballs, no shorts, In all- beautiful property but you can never relax, who wants to come to Maui to get bossed around by owners that don't even own the condo your in. Ridiculous !
