"It was the perfect stay with my dog. Only thing was we were in the “deluxe” building facing the river. There was no accessibility switches on the doors entering or leaving foyers. This was very difficult with a dog in a new place plus luggage or bags. Loved the pool. Loved the location. Staff were quite friendly."

"Really liked the place. The staff and the amenities were great, the latter more than I needed. The breakfast was more than sufficient, with a good selection of items and I have to admit, the coffee was excellent. The room was comfortable….that king size bed was huge… the bathroom had a great shower…and the room was nicely clean and well equipped. Had no problems with the wifi except for my temperamental IPad and the staff helped me with that as well. I was vey pleased with the hotel and what it had to offer. I plan to return to Ottawa next year and this is where I’ll be staying. I highly recommend it and that’s my opinion."

"What an incredible stay! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our anniversary. Very classy gesture to open the door and have led pillar candles flickering, solid jazz tunes on inbrhe background and petals on the duvet. Suite 4 has awesome charm and character. The only downside, which is no one's fault, is the noise and foot noise from the suite above. It was seriously loud, but the pros outweighed the cons here and it is an excellent property, well maintained, spotless and walking distance to great pubs ans restaurants."

"This was the perfect place for us to rest in between adventures in the capital region. We traveled with two seniors and two preschoolers and two adults. This property had amenities for everyone, including books to read to the kids for bed, space for people to stretch out without being on top of each other, and a well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals. Very happy with our experience. Also a total bonus, because sometimes it can be hit or miss with vacation properties... The mattresses were very comfortable."

"The cottage was clean, very nice and comfortable. The air conditioning was much appreciated. The kitchen was very well equipped with dishes, utensils, pots and pans and small appliances. We were a little disappointed because we could not go swimming, the river was so full of weeds and the water was very low, we could not get in the water from the dock. If you like some tranquility, you will love this cottage. It was nice to drink our morning coffee sitting on the Adirondack chairs on the dock. The cottage is not far at all from Ottawa. Kemptville is a very nice town, very clean and the people are friendly. We went walking on the various walking trails. They were great. They also have really nice dog parks. It was so very easy to reach the host. She was helpful and always available."
