"There were some hiccups with the cleaning people, which delayed the cottage being cleaned before we arrived. The property owner responded fairly quickly but the property wasn’t ready for us until after 9:00 pm. There were a few maintenance issues (outside window pane broken, bathroom mirror lights inoperable, loose toilet seat, and a nearly full outdoor trash container with the remnants of cleaned fish). But nothing that we couldn’t live with. Overall, we enjoyed our stay."

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was well-equipped and conveniently located a short walk from the lake, downtown, and Hoover Auditorium. "We stayed here last year, location was decent and the house is roomy and like the fact that there are many beds. The kitchen sink drained very slowly on the right (garbage disposal side) it also backed up when we ran the dishwasher then went down. The dishwasher did not seem to wash the dishes very well. For other wheelchair/Hoyer lift users: Exterior doors were wide enough for my husband's chair (manual tilt-in-space). The middle bedroom (queen bed) doorway was narrow but workable. "I was a bit disappointed while at the pool area. There was no supervision / parents and the kids were not listening to the pool employees when told to stop. There was also a line to get into the hot tub and no one was managing that issue. The cottage was great, just wish the pool wasn't so chaotic."
