Très bien situé.. Belle terrasse avec vue sur le Nile.

L'emplacement est certainement le meilleur d'Assouan : la vue sur le Nil et la colline est fantastique. Les jardins sont merveilleux. Les repas excellents et peu chers. Le personnel attentif et sympathique. Si je retourne en Egypte, je reviendrai sans hésiter avec des amis. L'équipement sanitaire n'est pas très bien entretenu

Wow…!!!!!! Absolutely fantastic, and a must!!! We chose Dolby Kato because of the colours, and location in Aswan after a Luxor to Aswan cruise, not realising how special the Nubian Village was in itself. Right from the start, the communication was excellent, including advice to make sure the taxi would make it all the way to the front door (which he did, despite being unsure). Check-in was great, efficient, courteous and welcoming. The beautiful room was ‘refreshed’ literally as we walked in - it was super clean already. Plenty of excursions are on offer, so though we used the hotel as a transit for one night, I will consider it as a destination in itself next time. Finally, the restaurant. Another WOW!!! We stayed in for dinner as we arrived late and had an early start. The view of the Nile and over the boat ‘harbour’ ferrying groups coming to visit the village was vibrant and fun. And the food…superb! Though we ate well our whole time in Egypt, this proved to be our best meal (you don’t have to stay to eat there by the way, so stop by!!). Cooked from fresh and sooo tasty!! They arranged an airport transfer for the morning which was no hassle, providing a packed breakfast. All in all, a true gem in location, comfort, service, good, basically everything. I’d strongly suggest adding it to your itinerary if you’re in Aswan, I wish we could have stayed longer.
