Excellent hotel easily within walking distance to Old Town. Tram stop and Metro station around corner for easy transport around the city.
Hotel is excellent standard from facilities to breakfast. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
We travelled with a toddler and the staff couldn't be more helpful.
Hotel itself was nice enough, solid 3-star material. Only downer on the room was that there was no kettle facilities - if you wanted a tea or coffee, you needed to head to reception.
Staff were fantastic, very helpful on tips, how to get places, where to eat, etc.
The hotel has a sister restaurant next door, an Italian one, with very good food. For £10 you can have a starter and main, and a couple of drinks.
Breakfast in the hotel was fine, a selection of meats, cheeses, cereals, yoghurt, cakes, etc.
A group of 6 no complaints but do check mini bar at start ogf stay, we where charged for an energy drink that everyone said they didn't have. Having said that I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions and it hasn't ever happened before.
Perilously set on an outer bend of the River Vltava, Karlin suffered terrible damage during the floods of 2002. But this blue-collar industrial zone has rapidly recovered. The Karlin Music Theatre is the largest of many local nightspots providing light entertainment.
