"We stayed at this cabin after exploring Lassen Volcanic National Park as part of our national parks road trip, and it was a great spot to relax after a day in nature. The location is very remote, which we loved, and the hosts provided excellent directions with visual markers that made finding it easy. Susanville is just a short drive away with plenty of dining and shopping options.We especially enjoyed the cute little water feature near the cabin—it made a peaceful babbling sound while we relaxed on the patio. The comfy egg chairs were a nice touch! The cabin itself feels modern yet woodsy, with plenty of natural light thanks to walk-out doors in two rooms and a skylight in the third.A couple of small notes: we couldn’t get the shooting arcade game to work, and you’ll walk through a garage and across a short walkway to reach the cabin. Neither was a big deal for us, but worth mentioning.Overall, a peaceful and comfortable stay in a beautiful, nature-filled setting."

"There were a couple minor plumbing issues, but overall excellent accommodations. Lots of toys and board games for the kids, a good selection of DVD movies for all ages and quiet solitude. Barbara is a nice lady."
