The property was clean, neat, well appointed and very comfortable. There is nothing to want when you stay here. We enjoyed having the dock for our boat. the view of the water and the sunrise and sunset was great! The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing. We are looking forward to booking again in the future. Thank you Laurie for sharing your cottage with us!

So relaxing!

This cottage was cute, comfortable and conveniently located. We loved our deck time and the time in downtown Bemus Point. Lots of great restaurants!

Shoreline sanctuary

We love this place , perfect size for 3 or 4 , reasonable price for lakeside vacationing ,owner has provided just about every amenity you could think of! Close enough to Bemus to walk, but away from the weekend busyness .

Great stay

My wife and I had a great stay for annual fishing trip to Chautauqua. Laurie was attentive host and communication was excellent. We enjoyed setting on the deck and chatting with the neighbors when we were not on the water.

Bemus Point Weekend

Second time staying here. Great location, just minutes away from Bemus Point. Laurie is a great host, providing great communication leading up to the stay. Very accommodating! House is stocked well for your stay.

Great place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay there. There was plenty of room for us and we enjoyed being on the lake. There also was plenty of room outside. Our grandchildren were over during one of the days and they enjoyed playing frisbee. It is very close to Bemus Point which is one of our favorite spots on the lake.

Lakefront Gettaway

Very clean. Host provided paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, spices, many utensils, etc. Was a great place to stay. Wonderful view of the lake.

We really enjoyed our time at the lake. The yard was very peaceful. The goose was well stocked with everything you would need. My only complaint is that the shorelineis a mess with lots of Lilly pads, weeds, and other debris. I know that is not the fault of the owner but the nature of the lake this year. We would book again.

Peaceful time on the lake

The cottage is really well located, out of the main town of Bemus Point, but just a few minutes to everything. We especially loved sitting out on the deck at the end of the day, watching the very peaceful lake scene.

They've done so much with a small cottage.

Great cottage

We enjoyed our stay at this lakefront cottage. The house had everything we needed and it was nice to dock the boat right in front of the house. The owner was great with communicating and making everhthing went as good as it possibly could. Thank you for sharing your cottage with us!

Overall nice cottage. Beautiful view of the lake.

Cottage and amenities were very nice. Disappointing was the several feet of muck at the lake shore which made it impossible to swim or launch a kayak from shore. The dock is unsteady and rickety; no way we could have launched a kayak from there.

Great getaway!

WOW , we loved Laura's place! We literally did not need to take anything for our stay other than our personal items! Everything you need plus so much extra was provided. Games, puzzles, books we really felt at home and loved our stay! This is a beautiful cottage with great lake access and views! We will definitely come back again and recommend to our friends!

Cute cottage, great communication

The cottage was bigger than I expected. We had basically 5 adults (2 parents and 3 kids in their 20's) and had plenty of room. It was nice that we were right on the water and the sunsets were beautiful. Communication with Laurie was excellent, she was very accommodating.

Walleye Fishing

Great Place to stay, right on the lake with a dock for the boat. Boat Ramp was 5 min away. The cottage had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable. Nice back yard on the lake with fire pit. Plenty of parking space in the front. Quiet dead-end road. Neighbors were very friendly. Will Definitely be back same time next year.

Girls weekend

The camp had everything we needed for a relaxing catch up weekend. We visited some local attractions, took a ride around the lake and had a campfire next to the water. The camp is stocked with dishes , pots and pans, a full kitchen( minus a dishwasher.) We visited in September and the neighborhood was quiet and well taken care off. All in all a nice time away.

Convenient

Overall, we had a pleasant stay at the lake cottage. The location is ideal, with Bemus Point nearby and all that Lake Chautauqua has to offer, plus it’s only about 15 minutes from Jamestown. The cottage was the perfect size for us and our dog. The yard overlooks the lake, offering a nice view, though I’d recommend trimming the tall vegetation along the shore to enhance the view even more. The cottage is well-equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

Bemis point visit

The property met our needs except there were no tv stations. I guess you have to know how to do streaming and apps which we do not do. We were there to visit our son and daughter in law who live outside Jamestown and it was a great location, about a 15 minute drive to their house. We had a great time.

Convenient location

This house was so cozy. We enjoyed the view of the lake but disappointed in the poor upkeep of cottages across the street. Some are just beautiful. Others should be torn down. We grew up in Chautauqua County and found this the perfect base for going off to visit all of our friends. Also many good restaurants near by. The. Fire pit was a great end to our day and the communication with the property manager was outstanding. I’ve stayed in many VRbO’s and experienced none better

Clean environment with good safe dock.The area was close to Bemus point. We stayed in that area before and did have a problem with some guy who walks the docks at night.I Guess he owns some run down buildings on the same street.
