The yard was very peaceful. The goose was well stocked with everything you would need. My only complaint is that the shorelineis a mess with lots of Lilly pads, weeds, and other debris. Disappointing was the several feet of muck at the lake shore which made it impossible to swim or launch a kayak from shore. The location is ideal, with Bemus Point nearby and all that Lake Chautauqua has to offer, plus it’s only about 15 minutes from Jamestown. The cottage was the perfect size for us and our dog. The yard overlooks the lake, offering a nice view, though I’d recommend trimming the tall vegetation along the shore to enhance the view even more. We visited some local attractions, took a ride around the lake and had a campfire next to the water. The camp is stocked with dishes , pots and pans, a full kitchen( minus a dishwasher.) I guess you have to know how to do streaming and apps which we do not do. We enjoyed the view of the lake but disappointed in the poor upkeep of cottages across the street. Some are just beautiful. Others should be torn down. We grew up in Chautauqua County and found this the perfect base for going off to visit all of our friends. Also many good restaurants near by. The.
