We cooked our meals and had everything we needed. It was too cold to kayak on Findley Lake but we did sit on the dock and in the boathouse to enjoy the sun. I had lots of company and everyone was very impressed with the property. I had trouble getting up the steps to the patio (Hence the chair I dragged over) and I couldn’t get down to the boathouse with a railing there. But overall, I loved it. Aug 16, 2024 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Perfect Cottage for a Relaxing Week at Findlay Lake We loved Hidden Cove as much for the setting as the cottage itself. Cottage is very private with a grassy lot on one side and boat docks on the other. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful stone patio overlooking the lake. The boathouse was a great place to read and relax on the several rainy days we had. The cottage itself is completely revovated with an open space floor plan and an efficient, well stocked kitchen. Lovely upscale bath room and very comfy bed. Leigh was a very helpful host and we enjoyed an evening of live music at her Bison Trace Glampground. I didn’t find the lake great for swimming bestselling of the algae but it’s a wonderful lake for boating. The cottage has great kayaks and a canoe. Hope to come back for another summer vacation next year. ##### Joyce S.
