Old and not the cleanest
Pros: great location, but that's the only thing it has going. The hotel is overall quite old, with dated fixtures. The room had a stale lingering smell - like wet laundry, and the air-conditioning seems to be faulty because the air quality remained humid and musty throughout the 5-night trip. It did not change when we tried to turn up or down the temp, or toggle ac modes. Bedsheets had small stains on them which felt unsanitary. The sink in the kitchenette was clogged. Rubber mat in the bathtub/ shower was slippery and unable to adhere to the base, which made getting in and out a safety hazard. Wouldn't stay again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Got 1h late check-out. Best location. Rooms clean and spacious, with kitchen and washing machine. But: the temperature in the room is way to low. At arrival we were freezing. And even switching off the aircon, the temperature keeps low the hole night. We all got a slight cold. The pool area is acceptable, even not really nice. And it's smelling like waste water.

Excellent location. However, the water heater in master bedroom shower wasn't working properly. We have to turn hot tap to a maximum and min turn for the cold tap to get the right temperature and water did not have a strong flow. Tried using the microwave but smoke started coming out. We quickly turn it off. Overall the room is huge and clean. We will definitely return.

The name Ascott has been erased from my hotel list FOREVER!!! Never imagined a such old-smelly room and couch. Towers were colored out, means white turned into gray years ago. (How long have they been using the towers??) Couch and cushion were smelly!! Overall, besides the location, the hotel is not worth to stay at any cost. Stay way unless you want to check it out as a fool.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with all of our questions. Our room was clean. Love the “earth hour”, where the lights in the lobby was turned off for an hour.
