...again another fantastic stay in Istanbul at the Biz Cevhir hotel. All the staff are polite, friendly and professional. Everything was facilitated for us sich as taxi transfers and tours. Cant say enough good thing's about Turkeye, Istanbul and the Biz Cevahir!!

My recent stay at this hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The room was the highlight, spacious with a large terrace, but the peacefulness was overshadowed by several drawbacks. Firstly, the laundry service was outrageously expensive - $50 for a bag of clothes and $7 per underwear. This felt like price gouging, especially with an inexpensive laundromat nearby. The room cleanliness was mediocre, falling short of expectations. The breakfast was a letdown with stale offerings like mystery juice and a two-day-old cheese plate, though the coffee was decent. The front desk staff mistakenly accused me in front of my companion of having a declined payment, suggesting we had to vacate the room. This error, later rectified as a mix-up with another guest, was both awkward and unprofessional. The shuttle service to the airport was unreliable, arriving an hour late. This could be a significant inconvenience for those with tight travel schedules. Do not let them make you pay more than 35 euro for the shuttle, otherwise just install the local taxi app BiTaxi. Overall, while my stay was enhanced by personal reasons, the hotel itself didn't offer great value for the price. It felt comparable to a LaQuinta in Istanbul. I wouldn't strongly recommend this place, but it's not the worst option available. If you're considering staying here, be prepared for a few disappointments and weigh your options carefully.

We stayed at the Biz Cevahir Sultanahmet for three nights in October 23rd 2024. Excellent hotel within walking distance of sites, close to restaurants and shops. Breakfast was great and included. Wonderful staff, Jafer at the front desk was so helpful. We wanted to give a special Thanks to Jafer and the staff from the restaurant. We will definitely stay here again if we return to Istanbul and highly recommend to others.

Decent sized rooms with en suite and comfortable stay. Few minutes walk to blue mosque and Hagia Sophia. Small bazaar near the hotel. Expensive food near the hotel and 10min walk to Mcdonalds and sultan ahmet area where there are more restraunts but expensive. Good service from the hotel staff especially Mr Jafer who exceeded our expectations and asissted greatly through out our stay with booking airport taxi and advise on tours and getting around the city. Word of caution that many taxis refuse to pick you up from this area. Hotel is in a quiet side street.

Most places in the area are highly priced and little to offer with regards to space, this place offered large bedroom with study and lounge for half the price, the breakfast options was nothing less then any other hotels we've stayed at. Will i come back, absolutely and would not consider any other now that ive found this place.

Nice surprise
It was a spur of the moment thing. Turkish Airlines made us loose our flight and gave us a hotel for two days suuuper far from everything . We decided to go to Sultanahmet and this was available last minute . A very positive experience !!!

Perfect location to walk to so many fabulous things to see. Close to bus and tram routes. The staff were great arranging a 3 am car to take us to the airport. Lovely facility.

Good, But Not Exceptional
Over years I stayed in multiple hotels in Sultanahmet and frankly don't see how this one is better than many others, why are ratings are so high. Positives: - great Turkish service. Had a problem with the room, got changed quickly - location - elevator - clean, fresh Negatives: - rock hard beds - very fat pillows. Asked for something for humans and a couple of normal pillows were provided (see Turkish service in Positives) - a/c did not work (switched off as it is October), making us sleep with windows open. Old town is noisy late. - one of the glasses in the room had a broken edge, this is plain dangerous - breakfast is barely ok, I had much better in Old Town hotels - no power outlet for a phone charger next to a bed, had to disconnect the room phone - no gym. Yes, I know, this is a smaller hotel in Sultanahmet, but it shows 4*. A 4* without even a small gym? So overall a pretty decent place to stay as long as you can live with really hard beds, but exceptional? I don't think so.

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Biz Cevahir wih my wife and young son. The hotel is situated perfectly on a quiet street but literally only a 2 minute walk to the Hagia Sofia Mosque/ Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace. The hotel is great...clean, easily accessible with a great breakfast selection. The staff were all friendly and very helpful..I have to make special mention of the day reception manager Jafer..he was so polite, professional and always ready to help...a true gentleman who facilitated our stay. I would heartily recommend this Hotel and i'm already planning another stay!!

Great hotel located close to blue mosque
We stayed for a total of 10days and I must say it was lovely. Jaafar at the front desk was very helpful and did all he could to make sure we were happy. Hamza at breakfast was also friendly and always greeted us with a smile. The room we booked was spacious with a great balcony. Partial sea view and the blue mosque. Walking distance to blue mosque and tram. All in all it was a great stay. Thank you

Excellent location with main attractions and tram within walking distance. Rooms were a good size with amenities provided (slippers, robes, shower gel, shampoo etc), and staff were friendly. Soap was provided rather than handwash. If you require handwash, I recommend buying at the airport after passing security, as the nearby shop charge extortionate price. WiFi in the rooms were terrible, including mobile data (I recommend purchasing Vodafone sim rather than Turk cell sim, as Turk cell data was terrible in the hotel as well). There was decent WiFi in the hotel lobby/reception area. Despite being a non-smoking property, there was a lingering cigarette smell from time to time. Overall, I would recommend this hotel.

The property is very clean and well maintained, Breakfast is excellent and a wide variety, staff (Jafar and Hasan and another guy at night do not know his name) are really welcoming and great customer service. Definitely will come back again to this hotel.
