"This house is in a great location for a stay in Doolin - just a few minutes walk from Gus O’Connor’s pub and some shops, and a few miles away from 3 other good pubs, all with Irish music at night. The house has everything that you might need and Patrick stopped in a couple of times to see if everything was good. I recommend this as a good place to stay in Doolin."

"Wonderful time in Ellery lodge. Everything was lovely. Just maybe a small tip for other guests. A simple explanation on using appliances as we had difficulty with cooker and dishwasher. On this occasion I don t think the over 60 age group was a problem 😂"

"Castle View House was pristine! We all loved watching the cows from our windows and walking around the beautiful property. The house was very well stocked with all that we could need to cook a few meals and take care of the family on vacation. Our host, Sally, left us bread, milk, eggs and some essentials to get us started upon arrival. We felt very welcomed and comfortable!"

To address some items mentioned in others reviews: When we got there there was a musty smell, as others have mentioned, but it did get better over our time there. The heat was off and it was extremely cold on our arrival, and I feel like living there and keeping it warmed up helped the situation. "Perfect spot for a quiet getaway. The property was beautifully designed and very well kept. It had great amnesties that allowed us to dine in and enjoy the wood burning stove. A short walk to the beach was also a bonus. We would definitely stay again"
