Staff was fantastic and breakfast was really good, will stay again when back in area.

From the outside, the hotel can seem old and out of place, but once you step inside, it feels rustic and charming. With classic lounge chairs in the corner and on every floor, this feels like an old Victorian hotel. The theme continues in the room. Unique pictures on the wall and old looking decor. Room came with fridge and microwave but not fancy soap bottles stuck on the bathtub wall. Classic, small little hand soap bars and small bottles of shampoo. Room was very quiet and you don't hear people in the hall unless they let their room door slam closed, but some people just don't have the capacity to know their surroundings.

Spacious clean and modern accommodations. Enjoyed our stay!

Bar lacked options, however we had a lovely stay

Booking through Expedia said “River view”; however given a room “On the River”. Best to call the lodge to book in order to be clear on the room you want. A little extra cleaning can go a long way in the pool and cabins, but they just opened the week we went so I feel it probably will improve throughout the year. The staff (especially Sharon at the front desk), dinner menu and things to do in the area made it a 5/5.
