"The petite room was perfect for one person. The room was clean and well appointed, and the bed was comfortable. Room service was fast and delicious. One of the best hotel staff experiences I have ever had. When they found out that my mom was having surgery at the hospital near by, they send a small gift to my room in support. It was so sweet and caring and really buoyed my spirits. Would absolutely recommend. "

"Great location & the staff are fantastic. My room was sufficient but very dated and worn. The chair had spots so worn that the pattern/colour was non-existent. The floor lamp was broken (tbf I never informed them as there were other lights). This is an old hotel but it doesn't have to look like it. A refresh of the rooms would do wonders!"

"Our room 618, was newly renovated, very clean, spacious, well furnished and comfortable. A nice view of the harbour. We would rate it one of the best we've ever had. It has a fridge; a microwave would be a welcome addition. During our stay the room was very quiet. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast also very good. The hotel is in an excellent location with many restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We would definitely stay at this location again."
