  • Welcome to Serenity Log Inn. This authentic 1930s log cabin offers two bedrooms, full bath, fully furnished kitchen and screened porch to enjoy your coffee in the morning. Located one mile from the historical town of Kimmswick and 25 miles from St. Louis. 5 min to hwy 55

    There is a $30.00 fee per use of fireplace. Fee covers Firestarter, dry wood for burning, maintenance, and set up, plus$18.00 fee first use to cover clean up. Due to infestation of insects, no outside wood allowed. 24 hr notice required.

    We have wireless internet with a strong router signal. HDTV Clearsteam 4 Max Antenna ensure local channels to 70-mile radius. Netflix and hulu available. You can stream your own video through Roku.

    Serenity Log Inn is a single level with one step to access the rear entry into the kitchen.

    Other things to note.
    Air mattress can be inflated using a small hair dryer located in the bathroom vanity.

The location of the property was just right. It was in close proximity of a number of things to do and places to eat. The place was clean and the the kitchen well stocked to be able to cook your own meals. My coworker and I had plenty of space to be there together but not bother each other at the same time. This was a wonderful stay and I would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and willing to assist whenever we needed anything.

The cabin was spacious and comfortable. Big kitchen with eating area and a dining room. Nice quiet area with very little traffic noise at night. Would definitely recommend for a stay and would rebook in the future.

Very wonderful place. It was decorated for Christmas, and had a couple of groceries already in the fridge for us. The host was super nice and accommodating. It's a great place to feel cozy while im St Louis.

Beautiful house. The renters were very sweet and Godly. We loved that. The only issue we had is that they stay in the basement of the rental and that is uncomfortable to be honest. It should be noted on the VRBO that the owners stay on site in the basement to enable the buyer to decide if that is ok for them. We made it work, but did not expect the owners to live in the basement. If you want a beautiful place to stay with activities in the vicinity, it is beautiful, but if you are people that enjoy seclusion and privacy, it is probably not the place for you.

Amazing Trip

We really enjoyed the two days we spent at the Serenity Log Inn! It was clean, cozy, and spacious for our family of two adults and three young children. We will recommend it to our friends and would definitely come again!

Overall it was a great stay. Our hostess Dennie was fantastic. The only reason not to have all 5 stars is that we found the living room seating, although aesthetically pleasant, not very comfortable to sit in.

Super cabin

We really enjoyed ourselves...it was a unique cabin...it was so nice of the host to have everything we would need for breakfast...you dont usually get that...we had a great time with our grandaughter and her husband and got to meet our new great grandson
