Dogtown is known for its quaint, traditionally Irish community of St. Louis surrounding the Clayton and Tamm Avenues intersection. Dogtown is a beautiful, safe neighborhood home to a large St. Patrick\`s Day Parade held every year, rain or shine, on March 17. Anchored by St. James the Greater Catholic Church, Dogtown is just south of Forest Park, with its southeastern edge abutting the traditionally Italian area of town, The Hill neighborhood. You\`ll be within walking distance of many restaurants, bakeries, pubs, local shops, and the St. Louis Zoo!  
  
  
  
Just three minutes from highways 40/64 and 44, means you\`ll also be minutes from Downtown (The Gateway Arch, City Museum, Aquarium), Clayton, The Loop, South Grand, and Maplewood businesses, restaurants, and entertainment. You\`re even closer to Universities (Wash U, SLU, Webster) or major hospitals (Barnes, St. Louis University, St. Mary\`s).
