Sleeps up to 6 with King master, queen 2nd BR, and full size sofa bed in 3rd. You'll love the blend of modern amenities and historic charm in this 125 year old home. Enjoy a night out and come home to a safe, clean, and comfortable apt. Fast wifi and free off-street parking. A great place for couples, business travelers, families, and small groups. We live in the adjacent unit and are available if you need any assistance or local recommendations during your stay. However, we highly value your privacy and will not interact with you unless requested. Your comfort and independence are our priority. We are centrally located so it's great for getting to major city sites easily by car. The area is a good mix of old classic brownstones and new development. There is a restaurant a couple blocks to the west and grocery store and small shopping center 1/2 mile east but otherwise not many shops/restaurants within walking distance. We have a gravel parking pad with 3 off-street parking spots and free street parking in front as well. "Is it safe? We've heard about St. Louis crime..." Yes! Our neighborhood is among the safest in St. Louis (reference: Trulia crime stats). We've lived here for several years with no issues. Please know that the area is not near the areas (North and East St. Louis) that you hear about in the news. That said, it is a city neighborhood, not gated suburb and you'll find a wonderful melting pot of old homes, new development and diverse neighbors. The whole apartment is yours! We have another airbnb in the apt above and we live next door. We won't disturb you but are always available if you need anything during your stay. The property was exceptionally clean and well laid out, with everything we needed already in place - linens, towels, dishes, and all the essentials. The entertainment setup was great, featuring Roku with various streaming options. The location was perfect - we could walk to breakfast just down the street, and when we Ubered to the ballpark for Saturday's game, it was only about 3 miles away and very affordable to get there.The neighborhood was quiet and charming, exactly what we were looking for. I was particularly impressed with how responsive the host was - whenever I sent a text with a question, I received a quick reply.Overall, this was exactly what we needed for our trip. The location is fantastic- close to everything but tucked away in a quiet corner. Owner is responsive and helpful, house is comfortable with lots of flexible sleeping options.
