« My friend and I booked our stay as a getaway from kids. We were hoping for time on the beach enjoying the sunshine, it was cool and rainy but it didn’t damper our stay. We still enjoyed the quiet time and found ourselves watching movies without interruptions 😂. The home was clean, cozy and had everything we needed for the weekend. The hosts sent several messages before our stay and were quick to answer questions. We will definitely stay here again and hope for better weather. »

« The cabin was very cozy and just what we needed. The hot and cold in the kitchen were switched but the owner gave us a heads up and was very attentive to anything we needed. Definitely loved this stay and will come back in the future. »

« The location is remote with breathtaking view. It was well equipped with everything for an away from home stay; except heat! The furnace was out and pellet fire place didn't work. The property manager Georgia and her husband Jay were Johnny on the spot trying to fix anything we needed done and brought out electric heaters. « This charming cottage was perfect for myself and 2 friends. The weather eas rainy but cleared for beautiful sunsets. We even saw Northern lights. If the temperatures were warmer we would of kayaked. We had fun playing games, doing puzzles and takjng a day trip to Alpena. I would rent this cottage again when the weather is warmer to kayak and play in the lake. »
