Lake House w/ A/C & Huge Deck! PET FRIENDLY! The Lake House has an incredible view of the grounds and the lake. It features 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and a full kitchen with stove, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, Keurig AND a drip coffee maker and enough cooking utensils, dishes and flatware to prepare meals for everyone. There is a large dining table and a large sectional couch with an armchair for you to relax in too. We are a pet friendly resort, so please bring your furry friends along! (there will be a small fee.) One bedroom hosts a Queen Size Bed and the other TWO bunkbeds with twin over Full. 1 GB of WiFi works all the way to the end of the dock, and there’s also Roku Television with Spectrum. This home has recently been redone! Your stay will include towels and linens for the beds too! Outside there is a picnic table, Weber Charcoal Grill, and a couple of chairs. Shared amenities are the beach, dock, fire pit, kayaks, tetherball, shuffleboard, and a fish cleaning station. There is plenty of private parking right across the street for your vehicles and trailers. The Houghton Lake area almost has too many things to mention. We are walking distance to the copper gazebo where the birdwatching and fishing are incredible. Swimming, boating (several places to rent pontoons, or we have some small fishing boats to rent too), waterskiing, GOLF (many great courses in the immediate area), fishing, hiking, ORV’s are for rent right down the street (snowmobiles too), geocaching (one of the largest in the state), shopping, eating, kayaking, color tours, cross country skiing, sledding, and many, many more things to do here. \-- THE PROPERTY -- Shared Dock | Boat Rentals Available | Pet Friendly w/ Fee | 1,200 Sq Ft Treat the family to a lovely lakeside vacation at this well-appointed Houghton Lake home! Séjour de 5 nuits en juillet 2024 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Lindsay D. 10 août 2023 Points forts : Propreté #### Very nice place The property and the house were very nice! The house was very clean and had everything that you could possibly need. The kitchen was stocked with everything and they had tons of appliances, paper towels, trash bags, Tupperware etc. The kids room was perfect and set up with games that we enjoyed. The dock and kayaks were great and we used them a ton. The only downside of the house was a moisture problem and it subsequently made every door hard to open. Something to keep in mind too is that it’s a community type type place that allows pets so if you aren’t friendly and social and don’t like dogs then it’s not the place for you. We met some very nice people and shared the fire pit with them every night and we enjoyed ourselves. Another negative was that the owner of the property was not very available via phone for questions, we saw him once in passing but at the beginning I couldn’t figure out which door we were supposed to go in and where the lockbox was and it was pouring rain and no answer on the phone. He never even called me back…so all I could think is we would be in trouble in an emergency. I think this should be fixed if you are going to rent out a place. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay and the whitetail cabins. ##### Lindsay D.
