I Liked the property but got a charge to my CC a few days later for 1200 though i only had 500$ worth of room service ordered. left a sour taste in my mouth.

Such a sweet hotel in uptown, right on Magazine with cool shops and restos surrounding. The southern charm is rampant. Amazing art collection. Gorgeous decor - colours, textures and style. Spent the whole day by the pool enjoying the muggy Nola sun in comfort. Loved it and will definitely stay again.

On the surface as you enter this hotel looks amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, overall fantastic service. However, once you look at the building and your room a little closer you see this place is in desperate need of maintenance or renovations. The hall carpets are dingy and full of stains. The rooms themselves have so many issues. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan. There was a spot for one but it looks like it broke and they gave up on it by placing a sloid wall plate over where the switch would be. The only real in room amenity was a Keurig coffee station, everything else was part of a mini bar with obviously inflated prices. Overall all I would find a more updated hotel or if you want more of an authentic feel stay closer to the French quarter in a classic hotel model. Unfortunately I would not recommend staying here.
