"Was a great decision staying at sunrise villa. On island location was perfect for day trips to the west and east sides and proximity to downtown when needed. Right on Hoopers beach was never crowded and beach is very walkable and swimable. Very clean and fresh villa. Well appointed and communication with staff and owner was excellent. Air conditioning in all rooms worked well. Would stay again. "

"Our family of 4 had a wonderful time in this perfectly sized and outfitted home! The owner provided excellent activity and restaurant recommendations and was a wonderful host. When the weather turned too windy to be out on a boat, we were able to enjoy our space with everything for cooking, playing cards, board games, and reading some fun reads. The home is well designed and intentional in making a family very comfortable. Finally, the beach is a short (2 minutes) but sweet walk from the house and with a very private feel. "

"We had an amazing time, Eric and Lydia are by far the bests hosts we have ever had. Full of information and always ready to get you where you need to go or do with the local inside scoop. Hoopers Bay is the prettiest least crowded beach in our opinion, despite the Turtles having left. The view of the bay, the private beach area, it is very centrally located to town and access to Stocking island. The condo is well stocked, you can hear the waves lapping at night, perfect for star gazing. We kayaked the bay as well. We will hopefully be back. :) "

"Photos truly don’t do this place justice. The views of Hooper’s Bay are incredible, and there is just so much to do, it’s like having your own private resort! 6 of us stayed here over New Year’s week, including two boys 10 and 12. We were all kept busy — between the pool, dock, fishing, snorkeling, kayaking, SUPs and beautiful deck and “beach” to lounge on, you truly don’t have to leave to enjoy Exuma. But you’ll want to to take in everything the amazing island has to offer. We had two private chefs cook for us as well as a masseuse give us massages on the sandy beach, and the house was the perfect set up for both. We couldn’t have been more pleased! If you’re considering Nautilus by the Sea, book it now. You won’t regret it and will have Exuma “blues” the second you leave. We can’t wait to come back!"
