« We loved staying in the penthouse. It was very tasteful and comfortable, and the view from the bedroom and lanai couldn’t be better. The people in the building were nice and a nice long pool was good for laps. Carl Smith beach right next-door was excellent for gentle swimming And snorkeling, and we saw a lot of turtles. I would definitely come back and stay in the penthouse. All the necessities were available in the kitchen, and the place was clean and tasteful. »

« What a beautiful location and farm. So peaceful and a fantastic place to decompress. Matter of fact we spent a very enjoyable day on the lanai. The cottage had all the amenities we needed, a real kitchen, the bed was very comfortable, there’s a washer and dryer there, as well as snorkeling and beach gear available for use! We highly recommend this place and would stay again 3 easy check in/out, nice hosts. Farm is about 30 minutes from Hilo. »

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....

« Beautiful view of the water and park below. The condo was clean, comfortable, well-stocked with appliances, silverware, and toiletries. The Air Conditioning worked very well. The location is central to everything you would want to do in Hilo and it was nice and quiet in the evenings and throughout the night. My family enjoyed staying here and would stay here again. Communication with the VRBO owner was always fast with prompt and courteous messages and responses. »
