"This was the best vacation we have had since pre-covid. My wife is quite particular so she called the day before our arrival and spoke with guest services to stress the need for CLEAN accomodations. When we checked in the informed us that our room was cleaned by 2 teams. My wife was in awe at how great of a job they did. The cleaning manager even stopped by when we were unpacking to see if it was to our satisfaction. The room wasn't just clean it was immaculate. No dust on light shades, no crumbs under the stove, carpets vacuumed thoroughly. On top of that, the resort has 4 pools (toddlers, kids, mixed, adults). It was nice to have multiple options in the heat. Another major convenience was the full and well-stocked kitchen . We didn't have to leave the grounds and we brought groceries with us. It was a terrific trip and my wife has already started checking dates to book again."

"We had a fantastic stay! The house is gorgeous and we loved spending our evenings on and along the river. There was lots of space for our group of 8 to have their own rooms and bathrooms. Using the ferry (which was only 5 minutes away) to get across to Jamestown and Williamsburg was easy and greatly enjoyed by my children. We hope to stay here again in the future!"
"We just loved every minute of staying here. The house/ property is so full of charm. You absolutely cannot beat being so close to the attractions all around Williamsburg. After touring and doing activities, it was so nice to settle down at the beach! We loved sitting on the screen porch looking out at the water, and taking in all of the beautiful views. "My family of three, including our energetic three-year-old son, stayed here the week of July 4th, 2025. We’ve visited this area before, but this was our first time staying at this home—and it truly hit all the marks.We’ve stayed in a couple dozen rentals through Vrbo and other platforms, and this one stands out. The location is ideal—everything is within about 15 minutes, including several great restaurants. If you’re into coffee, definitely check out 1607 Coffee, just five minutes away.The home is well laid out with three bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a tub and one with a shower), a spacious living room, and a generously sized kitchen. The back porch with a grill was a highlight, and the flat, green yard was perfect for our little one to run around and ride his bike after long days out. Meanwhile, we got to relax on the front porch in the rockers with a nice drink. The porch was especially lovely on those warm summer nights.Thank you, Armando, for your hospitality—we can’t wait to return as our little guy grows!One small suggestion: consider adding a second lock higher up on the front door. Our son was able to unlock and open it easily, which gave us a bit of a scare. Better safe than sorry!"
