Loved the atmosphere of the whole place and room and liked how cozy it felt. The staff was awesome and breakfast was great. The room was a little dark, our air would not cool below 70 but the bathroom was amazing Had great light for hair and makeup and had a big magnifying makeup mirror. The Inn was easy to get to from anywhere in Williamsburg. Loved the drive up to the Inn, very quaint.

This was an awesome place to visit. The winery, the on site restaurant made our trip exceptional. We were only 10 minutes from Williamsburg and all the great spots to visit there. Definitely push the button if you're on the fence!

My husband and I spent 3 days at the Wedmore Place, located on Williamsburg 400 acre winery, while we toured the Historic Triangle: Williamsburg, Jamestown, & Yorktown. The Wedmore was a great location and peaceful to return to each evening after a busy day of touring sites. It was a nice change of pace from a regular hotel with a European atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and helpful, breakfast was good.

The property was lovely. Very quaint and unique. The winery was beautiful and the walk around the property is so relaxing. The Gabriel Archer Tavern was delicious. The short drive to market square, colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown made it so easy. The staff was very kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

Wedmore Place was an awesome place to stay. It gave you the sense of staying in a historic castle or inn. The grounds were lovely and felt removed and quiet. There was a great sense of peace here. Walking distance from the winery for a tasting and a tavern for a great elevated dining experience. Overall a great place. For people who like very hot showers or strong water pressure, my room did not have that. It wasn't bad for me but I know people like it more intense than me. Also, the thermostat was just kind of odd/confusing, but once we figured it out we were comfortable. Oh, and if you need air movement/noise, bring a fan. The bed was awesome. The atmosphere of the building was awesome. The breakfast was awesome. I would definitely stay here again.

The standard of Build detail is excellent, using things like Wideoak flooring and traditional joinery. The rooms were large and gracious with antiques abounding. Central courtyard was lovely and access to the winery was a bonus.

This hotel was un unexpected delight! There is a winery tasting room, and restaurant a few steps away so very convenient after a long day. The bedroom was excellent and the breakfast was wonderful. I would stay here again.
