Lovely hotel in general with a friendly attentive staff. However, it is in a rather isolated location with a restaurant/bar that closed early for dinner - we had to rush our check in to make dinner. The hotel served no breakfast, necessitating a 10+ mile drive to Port Clinton for breakfast. While on the water there is no real access to the lake, and a small seating area across the road and on the rocky shore was oddly not permitted by the city/state to consume a glass of wine or beer. The Marblehead Lighthouse was about 300 yds up the road and a nice place to explore. We’d stay there again but we’d be sure to bring some food!

Stay was awesome. My only suggestion to mgt is that the 1st floor back door is very loud and jaring when it closes. Can hear and feel it.in room 107 and probably beyond.

Room itself was clean. I saw dead mayflies in a few places in the main lobby, but that's pretty much unavoidable. Main issue is that wifi was spotty and really couldn't do much with it beyond casual web browsing.

"Terrible it was dirty outside the property and inside. Stains on pillow cases, smelled horrible, bathroom was dirty. So it’s not missed, the smell was awful. Zero stars, do not stay here. The lobby is the only somewhat clean area.. Stained carpet and dark parking lot"
