« gorgeous place up in the woods. you wont see a neighbor or traffic. nice little brook out back with an excellent sound. Front porch rockin' chairs were a favorite. Franklin WV is 4 miles away with a few restaurants and groceries if you care. Kitchen was great and had all the necessary things. turn off all the lights and step outside at night and it is pitch black except for the stars. WIFI was very handy and TV had Samsung streaming apps. »

« Had a great getaway with our 2 dogs. Was a very relaxing, and quiet place to stay. Was close to many hiking spots. Downtown Harrisonburg is only about 20 min away with all your food and entertainment needs.thanks for a great place to stay with our fur babies »

« This cabin on the Greenbrier River is a delightful place to relax, fish and sightsee. It is newer and the owner has taken pride in decorating and caring for it. The views of the river from the front deck are spectacular. A wonderful find for us and we plan to head back when we vacation in the beautiful Marlinton area! »

« Had a great fishing trip with family. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 3 kids. Some birders in the family were really excited about the wide variety of migrating spring warblers. Incredibly peaceful and quiet setting. Star gazing was also amazing. Much better than on Snowshoe mountain because of light pollution from the resort. Only downsides were a couple of the showers weren’t functioning well but likely can be fixed easily. Also had evidence of mice which isn’t too surprising given the wooded...

« We wanted to get away from the heat and we found a great spot for that at Glady Hideaway. Totally shaded and much cooler than out in the sun. We also like to get away from hustle and bustle when we vacation. Glady Hideaway is perfect for that. Small town Elkins nearby had everything we needed: grocery store, gas station, brewery (Big Timber Brewing $5 draft beer!), and coffee shop (Tip Top).
