"The Parkgate Hotel is well-situated, and a beautiful hotel. Their breakfast was delicious, and the rooms are comfortable and modern. It is a bit tricky because there is no place to pull up in front of the hotel to drop off or pick up guests and luggage, but that seems to be pretty standard in Cardiff. The location of this hotel can't be beat for those attending events at Principality Stadium."

"Perfect location if you have an early flight out of Bristol. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. The restaurant left much to be desired...not great choices and food was average. The lobby and restaurant area felt institutional but the hotel had most of what you need for a short stay."

"Delightful hotel in a gorgeous location. Bathroom, particularly lovely, Definitely would stay again They allow dogs, however, they do charge £25 a night which I think is rather a lot even though they provided basket & dog bowls."

"Clean room, bathroom was a bit dated but totally functional. The sauna and steam room were great. Bed was comfy. Onsite restaurant menus are not up to date online."
