"Location, location, location!!! Not only 10 minutes from everything (downtown, Ruby falls, rock city), incline railroad just down the street, but also a great neighborhood. Clean, quiet, safe. We took walks (don’t miss the great outfitter store down the block in beautiful historic building), and my 14 yo son was safe to roam. Easy parking. The condo itself is comfy & roomy. "This place is adorable, and the location is outstanding if you have activities planned at Lookout Mountain! There is no staff on site however, they are very responsive and frequently check-in. As an avid traveler, I think it’s extremely important to share my full experience and why I rated the way that I did. First and foremost cleanliness should be top of the list in any lodge, hotel, or rental property. I will keep it simple and say that I had to clean the room before I felt comfortable. There were dead bugs in the floor, coffee stains on the counter, and hair was in the bed linens upon arrival. Some of the photos are misleading because they make the room look much larger than it is. The room that I was in should have comfortably fit two people, but I would recommend this to a solo traveler. There was no living or sitting space in the room only. There was one backless chair that was very uncomfortable. Otherwise, you had to sit on the bed. They’re only small trash cans provided in the room that won’t even fit a takeout box and I cannot locate a larger trashcan on the property. We fortunately had a large box in the car that we could leverage for trash. The bathroom is very small and the shower even smaller. If you are a larger person, it is likely that you will not fit in the shower at all. I did experience a pretty major issue during my trip, and I will say the staff did everything within their power to make sure I was taken care of. I do appreciate that very much."

"I can't say much about the other rooms, but #228 had what I hope were water stains on the ceiling. The room smelled of wet dog—like an actual dog—because I assume previous tenants had a dog in the room. The AC unit made a loud ticking sound, making it hard to sleep after driving for hours. And breakfast seemed to be first come, first served."

"Lady at check in was super sweet. Got to room and the smell of urine was overwhelming. Dirt and dust everywhere. No cover on exhaust fan between rooms. White stuff all over pull out couch and mattress was yellow and stained up. Opened coat closet and it smelled like someone had been using it as the bathroom and the ironing board cover was hanging over the pole and it was covered in what appeared to be something nasty and it smelled like urine. Shower was cover in hair and when I opened the drain to shower garbage came out of it. Dirty wash cloth bunched up over shower curtain and bathroom door wouldn’t close it had to be forced. Exhaust fan in bathroom didn’t work at all and was covered in dust. Took pics of everything and did make a report with front desk and there were no other rooms available to switch. Assistant manager made report on our file and told me to contact Expedia and his boss Monday as his hands were tied because we used a third party to book."
