Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin

10/10 Excellent
"We had a wonderful stay at the Cassidy Homestead Guest Cabin! Bob was incredibly friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and we really appreciated his hospitality. The cabin was clean, comfortable, spacious, and very well maintained. We especially enjoyed the large covered deck, which was perfect for grilling, eating, and relaxing. The cabin also offered beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, which made enjoying the property even more special. The location was excellent—only about 10 minutes from Philipsburg, with easy access to Flint Creek, which provided some great fly fishing right near the cabin. There are also many other excellent fishing and outdoor opportunities within a short drive. We were able to bring our Australian Shepherd along, which was important to us. She loved exploring the property and surrounding area, and the friendly neighbors and their dogs gave her plenty of attention. She seemed to have just as good a vacation as we did!Overall, my wife and I had a fantastic experience. We loved the cabin, the location, the mountain views, and the surrounding area, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"

New Mountain Cabin perfect for outdoor enthusiasts- hiking, fishing, relaxing!

10/10 Excellent
"My wife and I stayed in the Sunrise Eagles Nest cabin to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary while our son was attending Camp Mak-A-Dream in Gold Creek, MT. The cabin is beautifully nestled in the mountains with breathtaking views and sunrises. It's perfectly located near I-90 which makes it easy to travel to many other destinations. Glenna and Corey were amazing to work with from the moment we booked the cabin. On the day of check in, Corey met us at the nearest exit and helped guide us up the 3.5 mile road climb to the cabin. The cabin itself is everything you need for a perfectly relaxing experience. It's off grid but has all the amenities you need including fast WiFi as well as two smart TVs, dishwasher, kitchen with all the tools you need and a grill. Everything was meticulously clean. You can hike right out the front door or travel to many of the parks, streams and hiking trails that are nearby. We are already looking at potential dates to return next year. I can't recommend this cabin enough. The rate is very reasonably priced and beats staying in any hotel that is nearby. If you're looking for the perfect serene environment to travel to in Montana...you've found it!"

Tranquil 3 Bedrm house w AC in Seeley Lake, MT-Dogs Allowed-Fenced Yard-Firepit

Tranquil 3 Bedrm house w AC in Seeley Lake, MT-Dogs Allowed-Fenced Yard-Firepit

10/10 Excellent
"Amazing care and communication. My dogs got out of the house because I left the door ajar while my daughter was in the shower and I went to run an errand. The neighbors immediately contact the host, who immediately contacted me. That means so much when you have a host who is actively caring (and neighbors!) The house had plenty of space and had beautiful flooring. Fantastic bathrooms and comfortable beds. Stylish log cabin vibe. Definitely recommend if you have dogs (large fenced in area with covered patio area). Large laundry room. Towels were very thick and fluffy! Big kitchen with more than enough tools and dishes for anything you need. I would definitely stay here again if needed. Great price for the amount of people we had."

Frequently asked questions

What is the best area to stay in Helmville?
The best area to stay in Helmville is the immediate vicinity of the town centre, particularly along Highway 12.This area is the heart of Helmville, offering the most convenient access to the limited local amenities. You'll find the general store, the local pub, and the post office clustered around the intersection of Highway 12 and the main road leading into town. The layout is quite spread out, typical of a small rural community, but these key spots are within easy reach of each other. For solo travellers or couples looking for a genuine rural Montana experience, staying near the town centre is ideal. It allows for easy interaction with locals at the pub or store, providing a glimpse into daily life in a close-knit community. It's also a practical base for exploring the surrounding natural beauty, such as nearby fishing spots or scenic drives.Families might prefer accommodations slightly outside the immediate centre, perhaps a bit further along Highway 12. These options often provide more space and a quieter setting, which can be beneficial with children.
When is the best time to go to Helmville?
The best time to visit Helmville for pleasant weather and outdoor activities is during the summer months, from June to August.During this period, you can expect warm, sunny days with average temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding natural beauty. The longer daylight hours also allow for more time to enjoy activities such as hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing in the nearby Blackfoot Valley. This is particularly appealing for solo travellers and couples looking to experience Montana's great outdoors in comfortable conditions.Autumn, specifically September, also offers a lovely experience with cooler temperatures and the vibrant colours of the changing foliage. While some outdoor activities might be less accessible due to colder weather, it's a beautiful time for scenic drives and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere.
