Super 8 Motel - Helena

"Close to airports "
Stayed here on our first night in Helena and our last night due to proximity of airport. First night, king bed on second floor, older roo, dip in middle of bed, ugh. Last night stayed in a queen renovated room, much better, wood type floors, clean. Above industrial laundry facilities, when the dryer on it shakes the room!!

"Convenient location, reasonable rates"
We only stayed one night, but the room was clean and comfortable. This motel appears to have been recently updated with new tile, bathroom fixtures, carpeting, drapery and bedding. The light over the vanity was nice and bright--a necessity for those of us over 60.

"A Helena Staple for Many Years "
My stay at Jorgenson's was for my 40-year high school reunion. The hotel offered a block of rooms at a reduced price per night, but I thought I could beat it by going through Expedia and buying a vacation package. I did, but with repercussions. The hotel complex has three buildings. I ended up with a room on the farthest side of the farthest building, unremodeled and facing an abandoned shopping mall. I also think it is an area of the hotel where transients with hotel vouchers stay, given some of the characters I saw coming in and out. When I asked the desk staff how/why I ended up out there, I was told that, when booking through Expedia, users must ask for a certain class of room and not just check the "standard room" choice. Good to know, I guess. I asked for an upgrade to the main building but it never happened, and that's partially my fault - I would have needed to move to the new room in the morning, and I was never there to make it happen. Oh, well...... My room was comfortable although a bit dingy, especially around the windows. The housekeeping staff seemed to be a bit inattentive to detail - the bedskirt was halfway off the bed, my sheets didn't get changed once while I was there, and they left used towels in my room. I don't believe the room was vacuumed once during my 4-night stay. Overall my stay was enjoyable. The food in the restaurant was good and the front desk staff, restaurant, and bar staff were very helpful and attentive.
