Okay place for a quick stop

The staff were amazing: attentive and chatty, eager to share useful advice about the hotel and surrounding area. We ate at the hotel and the food in the bar was fabulous - I’d highly recommend their spice box dishes. Beautiful cocktails too! There are a vast range of shops and local restaurants nearby as well as a shopping mall. Parking outside the hotel is chargeable during the week but free on Saturday evenings and all day Sunday. The room was large with a balcony which was lovely; spotless and spacious. The bed was so comfy. Lovely duvet- I’d prefer a softer feather pillow but that’s personal preference! There are tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. The bathroom was a little dated and had some minor cleaning issues but it was fine. Our stay was a very reasonable price and for the money, was good value. The stars of the show were the staff- especially on reception, the chatty security guard and the waiter in the bar.

I booked two separate rooms for this trip. When one of the rooms I booked did not have separate beds for my daughter and grandmother the hotel made arrangements with a sister property down the street, saved the Stay!

The standard double room was small but well appointed for a 2-night stay. Hotel is really nicely done with a lovely bar/lobby area and a really nice 'rooftop' bar restaurant with views over the city. We had drinks at both bars and they had nice alcohol free cocktail and wine options which this pregnant lady appreciated. Didn't eat there. It's in the business district so not the buzziest part of town but that means it's nice and quiet and only a short walk into the town centre for bars and restaurants. Also convenient for the Marina Market food hall. Handily located for the train/bus station if travelling from the airport on public transport and taking a day trip to Cobh, Hertz car rental is also on the doorstep which was great for us as we then spent 2 days driving along the west coast and back.

Beautiful hotel, bright and very spacious, every place in it was spotlessly clean, beautiful large bedrooms, very comfortable beds, bars, dining areas clean, spacious and fresh as we're bathrooms and public toilets. Staff were all very pleasant, friendly, courteous, efficient and helpful. Plenty of parking and conveniently located. Excellent choice of food, fresh and service was very good. There is nothing I could fault whatsoever in this hotel. Definitely look forward to returning there again. Thank you everybody for a very pleasant stay.
