« Beautiful, old building. Very well maintained and very clean. The room was comfortable and reasonably quiet. I didn't use any amenities other than wi-fi which was very slow and kept dropping connection. No parking other than on the residential street, so you may have to walk some distance to get to/from your vehicle. No elevator, but staff was willing to help carry my luggage. I booked the inn specifically for proximity to the John M Hall Auditorium and for that it was unbeatable. »

« good location view etc, they have kayaks and bikes to use. Nice location easily drive to Petoskey, next to crooked river with turtles, frogs, birds etc. For price the room was a bit dated. Also the free breakfast was not great. I realize it is "continental" but choices for pastries etc pretty low end. »

« The lady at front desk (Jackie?) was very nice, fun and helped us in many ways. It’s an old building and that’s a part of experience. The only disappointment was the jet tab in our room. Probably not used much though looked clean, the hot water was brownish and a bit challenging to use it. Still we enjoyed our stay :) »

« Conveniently located hotel for us in Petoskey while we visited family in the area. Was near shopping, restaurants and even a casino if you’re into that kind of thing. Only complaints we had were the fairly tight/limited parking and that the room walls didn’t seem to insulate sound very well. »

« We had a 2 night stay and were not informed at check in the room wouldn't be made up daily. We can appreciate re-using towels but for the price they should have made the bed, taken out the trash, restocked our coffee, and replaced the disposable coffee cups. I had to make 3 trips to the lobby to get Coffee and cups. »

« Bathroom was poorly maintained. Paint peeling off trim, toilet paper holder pulled out of wall, light switches dirty and at a 45 degree angle on the wall. Tub faucet had mold underneath the plastic. Black spots on the AC unit outside on the porch. The hot tub and pool had a layer of sand on the bottom. For $300+ a night we should expect better. »

« I booked a room for a substantial amount of money because my 90 year old father was in the hospital with heart issues. He was supposed to be in for a couple days. A couple hours after I booked the room, he was surprisingly able to be released. The hotel manager was very uncooperative about even listening for my refund request. I had just driven 13 hours straight from North Carolina. I expected a little compassion and empathy but apparently he wanted to get the ridiculous amount of money and then...
