It was phenomenal! The house is spacious enough that you never felt like you were crowded or underfoot of another. All of the separate spaces-loft for kids-main floor-basement recreation room & bedrooms worked out very well.When my husband and I discussed this possibility, we knew we wanted as many bedrooms with en suites as possible. This is it. I 100% recommend it. Sarah was great to work with & a pretty quick responder to all questions. I truly was anxious when the first snowstorm rolled into the state the day before most were heading to Northern MI, but they got there safely, and we had a lot of fun just being together. I had itineraries of things to do in the area, but we didn't really take advantage of any of them. We just spent time watching football, playing games, chatting, playing, laughing, and eating. Centrally located to lots of fun things to do and see, plenty of room to gather, eat, play games and just plain have fun. We had wonderful weather to sit out on the deck and front porch. We visited local beaches/parks, went to Mackinac Island and to the U.P., played golf and putt-putt, explored Harbor Springs and Petoskey, cooked family meals and had a lot of fun just hanging out as a family. This was the perfect place to host ALL of my family (21 of which 19 stayed in the house)!!! The home is beautiful and well-appointed. Our group of 16 (four families) had plenty of room to sleep and hang out. The kitchen is well-stocked, and we cooked for three nights during our stay. The pool table and hot tub were big hits with adults and teens alike, but the best feature was that each family had a bedroom/bathroom! Also, I can't forget to mention that the home is SUPER close to Nub's Nob and Boyne Highlands! The snow was not great during our stay so it was a relief that we had such a nice home to spend time in. Sarah was very attentive when we accidentally blew a fuse in the kitchen and she helped us locate the fuse box right away. Thank you for sharing your lovely place with us. Great location close to Harbor Springs, Petoskey, and a short drive to Mackinaw. The property was great for our group of 16\. The play room was a huge hit for our kids. The rooms are nicely laid out. We're a family of skiers. The location of the property was excellent. We had 17 children and grandchildren. The house was large enough for our group - particularly in seating, whether for meals or entertainment. The kitchen was also very well stocked. Bedding and towels, blankets, etc. were upscale. We skied The Highlands and Nobs Nob. The lodge is just a few minutes from both resorts - super convenient! Plus, it is a very short drive to Harbor Springs and Petoskey. And the accommodations at the lodge are top-notch! Amazing living room, great kitchen, super fun game room, and plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We will definitely be coming back!! ##### John L. We brought entire family, 13 adults/5 children, to celebrate mothers 80th bday. The property was gorgeous, conveniently located between Habor Springs and Petosky. We loved the privacy, the trees, the deer, and outside firepit to make s'mores. The amenities were wonderful including the hot tub, pool table, and the wonderful play area for kids which was an absolute bonus (Not many have such a well stocked play area for little ones). Loved the atmosphere of the cabin, very warm and cozy. Plenty of room to gather for such a large group, including playing pool/foozball downstairs, cards/board games at large wooden kitchen table, and many deep conversations on comfortable couches. The kitchen was large & included everything needed to cook meals for large groups. A few things need to be fixed, but when mentioned to the property owner, she already had scheduled to get fixed. The ice maker wasn't working because the vendor installed the new refrigerator incorrectly. The property owner offered to pay for our ice for the inconvenience. Amazing!!! Also missing bottom slate of one of the pac-n-plays, which she volunteered to pay for a replacement if we bought one. Very responsive and so appreciated. Only complaint is bedroom with 2 queen beds has only 1 exit: the door, no windows (Fire concern for us). Also this room had limited options for clothing. Not ideal. All other bedrooms were very large with huge closets. All beds were comfortable. The host Sarah provided great communication and provided so many of the little things you forget like baggies, trash bags, etc. We enjoyed the deck, grilling, and lots of hot tub time.
