The property was quite nice. A quiet fall getaway area!! The lake was low, but still quite beautiful--- Though the docks had been pulled out the public launch was nearby. It was disappointing that the restaurant was already closed down... Loved that there was a small deck, however, parking was limited if all the units had been occupied.... It was a very nice stay and we would definitely go back!!

Our weekend August stay
Checking in was good. Once there and starting to use the amenities is when we started to notice things. Our TV would not work or connect to internet after attempting to try many times each day. The microwave had dried stuff all over the glass tray and stunk. We had a coffee pot and coffee cup lids but no cups to use. The shower curtain inside liner was stained with mud. Cobwebs in all corners of the room and bathroom. There was not enough room for 2 vehicles per room to fit comfortably. Overall the stay was good, just need to update cleaning and maintenance personal to pay more attention.
A lot of spiders in room, half bottle shampoo, half bottle of either lotion or conditioner neither was labeled, only 2 packets of coffee & both were decaf & dirty floors I believe it should be rented under motel room instead of VRBO no amenities like for instance anything simple like regular coffee perhaps paper towels?
This was our second time staying in these rooms. They work great for us and the group we were with on our side-by-side trip. My only requests for improvements are having 1-bed option, to just have more room & our shower/tub drain was extremely slow to drain….which was an issue for one of the couples that stayed in this room when we were at this resort in February of this year as well.
The place worked for the weekend but it's a work in progress. Back door wouldn't open to get a breeze and the AC didn't work great. The beds were comfortable and the place was clean.

There was no parking available in front of our condo as other cars were always parked there. The one available dock always had kids playing on it, and we could not locate the comunity fire pit. The patio door to the deck could not be locked as the deadbolt would not turn. The condo was clean and the property was quiet. The beds were comfortable as well. Over all I would rate are stay as about a 31/2 TO 4. A BETTER MAP OF THE PROPERTY SHOWING WHERE THINGS ARE LOCATED WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL
We liked the location. We had 2 vehicles pulling a boat and the other a trailer and were able to find places to park both on property. The accommodations were pretty much like staying in a hotel but more expensive. We knew there were no kitchen facilities so we brought items to cook with. The cleanliness when we got there was not the best. Being in a wooded area there are bugs. The counter with sink was full of dead bugs, the bathroom floor didn’t look swept from previous use and the deck chairs and table were filthy and looked like they hadn’t been cleaned nor did we have supplies to clean with.
A couple suggestions for owners is to supply more then 2 small garbage bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper for guests staying 4 nights. Also supply a broom and dustpan for the floor as so much sand gets tracked in from dirt parking lot.
This is a newly acquired property so always room to improve.
We did enjoy our stay and maybe will be back if we visit Hayward again.

We encountered several serious issues during our stay. Some of the units had unsanitary conditions upon arrival, including soiled toilets and, in one case, a used pair of underwear left behind. Additionally, one of the refrigerators was not working. Most concerning, all units were without running water for more than half of our stay. This meant no water for handwashing, showers, or flushing toilets. When we contacted management, we were told that water service would be restored — though limited — by Saturday. A case of bottled water was left outside each unit as a temporary solution. However, when we returned, there was still no running water. Upon following up, management denied saying water would be restored and mentioned they would look into offering a credit. Despite multiple members of our group reaching out, we have yet to receive any follow-up or resolution. This experience was disappointing and poorly managed, and we hope future guests are provided with better communication and service
