« What a wonderful time we had!! Gorgeous location. While the deck is connected to Mercury’s home, the stay is super private. Sam and Mercury were generous and kind with provisions, local recommendations and fruit from their property. We were treated with a rainbow the first and last night of our stay! Loved all the critter noises (frogs, birds, etc), sleeping with the open air and waking up to the sunrise. Cooking on the outdoor kitchen was a dream. Great walking distance (1m) to a local...

« Le cottage est très bien situé, à quelques minutes d’Hana, de la Hāna Farms Roadside Stand, Pizza Oven and Bakery (excellente pizza), du Waiʻānapanapa State Park, du Kahanu Garden, National Tropical Botanical Garden et du Tube de lave à Hana. Un arrêt de 2 à 3 nuits permet de prendre le temps de faire tous les attraits de la route d’Hana. À 40 minutes de la Pipiwai Trail. L’équipement est suffisant pour cuisiner, mais il faut prévoir apporter la nourriture car il n’y a pas d’épicerie à Hana...

We split our road to Hana and Haleakala-Kipahulu District trip up over two days, making this the perfect place to rest for the night. We loved the secluded nature of the house and listening to the rain through the open windows at night. The bathroom was very clean and updated and we loved sitting on the back porch in the evening. »

« We spent a long weekend at the Elua Cottage and it was so relaxing! It’s stocked with all of the essentials. It has amazing ocean views and even my 6 yr old was sad to leave. Ocean breeze and the sound of the waves all night were so nice. It really is a gem of a place to call home base while exploring Hana. Easy to find, even after dark. Well definitely stay again! »
