The gardens were beautiful around the house and the driveway was very easy to park in. Indoors, the bedrooms were very comfy with bathrooms attached to each bedroom. The common area was very spacious, with an enormous couch and large dining room table for games or a puzzle. Outdoors, the deck was our favorite place to unwind after a busy day exploring the island. Just a glorious view! This place feels secluded, yet you are just 10 minutes from Coral Bay, which has a grocery mart and a couple restaurants. When there was a power outage on the island for a few hours, Dwight was extremely helpful with getting the generator up and running. Thankfully, we needed the generator for only an hour or so. He’s a great guy if you meet him! We will definitely be back! One thing I never even considered when booking was a generator, and luckily this property had one because we experienced multiple power outages during the week, one lasting over 40 hours. However, we didn't even notice because the generator did such an amazing job. The breezes through the house are amazing and we hardly ran the air conditioners in the bedrooms. Paul was also very helpful with tips and tricks for the island. My family of 5 will definitely be back. This homeIs perfect for a couple or a small family, or perhaps 2 couples, looking for a comfortable home, convenient to all that Coral Bay has to offer. We loved the convenience of one floor and the AC in the bedrooms, although we hardly used it as the home is perfectly situated to take advantage of cross island breezes. We also loved the book we found on the history of Bambooshay, and the story of the family’s rebuild after Irma. This home is perfection. The only feedback I have for the hosts would be to stock some foam type pillows for those of us that prefer a stiffer pillow. If that’s my only feedback, I think we’re doing pretty good.
