We were also extremely grateful that you were able to accommodate us at the last minute. The room was spacious but the bed was horrible! It squeaked at every move and felt like we were sleeping on broken wood under the mattress. Literally. The staff were amazing. I think the lady’s name was Janice. She was wonderful and even went to the store and got us a lock for our suitcase. She made our stay very pleasant. The hotel is NOT walking distance from the beach. Do NOT believe the other reviews regarding it. The walk was more than 30 minutes to Secret Harbor and took us through a back yard trail which felt unsafe. I booked thinking it was close and didn’t mind not having a pool because of that. Instead we taxied everywhere to truly see beauty. When we checked out, we found out at the airport that the airspace was closed and all flights were cancelled. While the owner called to see if we needed to return, he switched up quickly. We told him yes but also said we needed a different room since the bed was so bad. He said he usually charged $365 per night but since this was a smaller room he would let us back for $250 per night for a better bed. We jumped in a taxi from the airport and while headed back he called and said the room was already rented on Expedia. Then he called back again and said he would let us come back but only for $300 per night. Unfortunately our yaxi van was too large to get up the winding driveway so we had to drag our bag up a steep hill. Hospitality was truly excellent. Breakfast served everyday with a beautiful view of the bay. My 2 suggestions are truly personal and are just comfort features 1\. A full length mirror somewhere 2\. Use of a coffee pot when caretakers are not present. This property is what I call a Bed & Breakfast. The Hostess is a beautify Human being. Her spirit displayed genuine love, respect, and professionalism. Our unit was clean, modestly decorated, and furnished with everything you would need in this condominium floor plan. At this time Saint Thomas VI. was still recovery and rebuilding from a hurricane a few years back. But this property was in great condition compared to other properties on the Island. We were in walking distance shopping, dining and the Red Hook ferry system that provided transportation to other islands. Our unit's balcony had a beautiful view of the Red Hook harbor bay. Privacy and relaxation were very easy to obtain. Our Hostess provided great service for My Wife and I. It would be a great honor to be fortunate to return to Two Sandals and she is still employed.
