Excellent service and everything
The hotel staff were nice, efficient and accommodating, and helped to make my stay really easy and wonderful. The room is spacious, the bathroom is huge. Everything was so clean, and they also provided good quality bathroom amenities. It was really a great experience. Thanks - esp to Jason, Ada and Chris at the front desk.

A thoughtful and comfortable boutique hotel
It is a thoughtful hotel paying attention to details. The room is spacious, comfortable and clean though the floor is a bit worn down. I like the lighting buttons which are located at both sides of the bed for easy access. However, the lighting at the entrance where the airconditioner is located is not enough. It will be better if a luggage rack is provided. Mimi bar is also free. The staff are polite and helpful. The location is convenient with local eateries and subway station nearby.

Exceptional stay
We had only one night there and spend omat of time outside, but we were very happy about everything in Hotel. Maybe the breakfast buffet could have some more options but we didnt left with empty stomachs, so no problems in there. Especially the bathrobes very super comfortable! :)

Great service, cleanliness, good food
I enjoyed my stay at east hotel. Room was spacious and, comfortable, and clean. Hotel breakfast was great. I am very impressed with the service standard of the staff. Would specially commend "Emily" at the front desk, who helped me with setting up my digital payment methods and gave me great advice and tips about Hangzhou. I will definitely come back to this hotel the next time i am in Hangzhou.

East Hotel is nice, modern, boutique style hotel. Friendly and helpful staff and the room was clean quiet and comfortable.

Wonderful stay at The East Hotel Hangzhou
We had a wonderful stay at the East Hotel recently (Aug 6-8 and Aug 10-12)and was most impressed with the professionalism and the warm service from all the staff at the front desk - there were too many of them to name during our stay, but Jason, Lucy, Ada, Ken, Joanna and Leo in particular saw to our every needs from train bookings, concert tickets, directions to places of interest. The staff were well trained and took pride in providing excellent service. The hotel breakfast was delicious with a good choice of main and buffet selection, the room was comfortable and clean with only one minor detail which we would like to suggest for improvement - the lighting was a little dim particularly at the dressing and bath room mirror area. We will highly recommend this hotel to both business and family travellers.

a little bit disappointed stay
The first night hotel is out of power in the 2:00 am( the hotel said it is route check repair), and it was so hot, I was being waked up, the bad thing is that the hotel do not give you a warning before this happen.

Overall stay is good. Spacious and clean, staff were nice and helpful. Some electrical appliances didn’t work and malfunctioning of air con in the first night. But lucky it’s not a hot season so still manageable without air con for the night. Considering it’s price, this is already a very value for money hotel despite the small hiccups

Wonderful quaint hotel. Only downside was our bathroom (mirror was slightly broken and water kept getting blocked no matter how many time we pulled the plug behind). Lovely staff and service. Would recommend

Nice hotel to stay in Hangzh
We have stayed at the East Hotel Hangzhou multiple times. It is one of our favorite hotels. It is a good value. Now, they offer complementary shuttle service on weekends to the west lake area and Lingyi Temple, which make it a comfortable and continent place to stay.

conveniently located, well appointed and well staffed small hotel. we enjoyed our stay (family of 3) in a small suite. room was pleasantly and modernly decorated. everything worked and was very clean. we had a good stay and will consider returning for our next trip to hangzhou.

We loved the room and the ambiance of the lobby. For the price of the suite your money goes a long way. The hotel staff were very friendly and I would say this hotel is definitely comfortable and a good price for westerners!

High value for money
East Hotel was a surprise for my trip in Hangzhou. I will definitely stay there next time. Staffs were very helpful. The room is great at details and full of comfort feeling.

Very pleasant boutique hotel
The East is a small hotel located close to the centre of Wulin. A short walk to the canal and the delightful parklands which surround it on both sides - perfect for an early morning walk or jog. Breakfasts are very good, especially in the leafy outdoor area. Rooms, especially the suites, are spacious and well-equipped. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel near to Westlake and downtoen
Nice hotel and comfort bed however price little on high side. Still need taxi wherever you go and actually it's ok to stay little far from town as still need taxi to move around. Taxi pretty affordable.

Beautiful hotel
Stunning hotel, great space, very cool use of design and technology. A bit of a ways out from the train and from west lake (as in, not walking distance), but the city bus or a taxi can get you there within 20 minutes. Overall, a luxurious stay at a really affordable price.

Good hotel, bad WIFI
Check in was smooth. Lighting is very dim. Room is clean and comfortable. Service is good. However, WIFI and LAN are both very bad, surprising for a hotel of this repute. Many overseas website are not accessible and when they do, the speed is very slow. So if you expect to check-in to your flight online, do not be surprised if you can't do that. Beverages in room are all free, and they get replenished daily, which is good! Other than the WIFI/LAN issues, it was really quite a good stay.

Overall, it was a great experience. The Suite Room, although not the Family Room that we have booked, was more than adequate for us. Everything in the room were adequately replenished, no effort spared to make sure the stay was comfortable, The breakfast was the highlight of this stay. I could not fault the service. Nancy was absolutely fantastic. She kept that wonderful smile on her face despite the the stress of having to attend to guests waiting in the queue to be seated. A real credit to the hotel.

Great hotel on one of the main streets
Really good hotel, with huge rooms, on one of the main streets in Hangzhou. No street noise at night, close to lots of shopping and restaurants, and a 20 minute walk or so to the West Lake.

East Hangzhou Hotel, Great Place to Stay
A very comfortable hotel, where I would definitely return. My wife and I enjoyed the king sized bed, which was supremely comfortable. Room was very clean and very well kept. Excellent service. Restaurant had a great variety of dishes to try, and the food served was delicious. Highly recommended. Only conceivable downside was that the restaurant itself was a bit on the darker side (I think it's a new decorative style) and we were seated on seated cushioned chairs rather than proper dining chairs.

Nice hotel with excellent service
Overall the hotel is good with very good service. It provides free shuttle to sone famous location and can arrange transport with reasonable price. But only one thing that is not good enough is that the overall lighting is too dim.
