"I was traveling alone with my underage son and had a horrible experience at a hotel in Hammond where we decided to walk out and cut our losses. We booked a room at this La Quinta, about 30 minutes down the road - and from the moment we walked in we knew we were in a much better place. The hotel was clean, smelled great, and the parking lot was well lit. Brittany at the front desk was wonderful and got us checked in and up to our room quickly. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the water was hot, we slept well and felt safe and had a good breakfast the next morning before continuing on our way. THANK YOU for saving the day (and the night…and my nerves). Brittany deserves a raise. Five stars! "
