I was surprised by the state of our room considering we have stayed here before and it was great last time. This time however, there were strands of hair EVERYWHERE. On the floor, in the shower, on some of the towels. Considering we both have extremely low cut hair (buzzed), we knew it wasn’t from us. Other than that, it was okay. The view of the ocean was nice.

Excellent location. Within walking distance to most sites in the historic district and seldom had to use our car. Free, gated, onsite parking during the stay saved an additional $50/day. Well equipped kitchen, full sized refrigerator and ample seating appreciated.

Did not care for the room. No real aesthetic. Not warm-feeling. Very stark. Felt dated and old. Nothing at all special or memorable. Loud noises coming at all times from all sides including the hail. The pool staff was less than attentive to say the least.

Lovely recently renovated property in great location. Easy beach access. Beautiful pool with all the amenities. All meals on site were great. Especially the breakfast buffet. It’s clear they had a few staff shortages, but everyone is doing their best.
