"This place was a special retreat from all the commercialization of the Kitty Hawk area. It is located in and near one of the few original maritime forests on the island. You could hear all the frogs and crickets singing at night. Each room has a balcony with porch swing, overlooks the water, and has a spectacular sunset view. We would definitely stay here again!!"

"My family of 5 chose a 2BR cottage on the second floor at Saltaire Cottages. We absolutely loved it; direct access to the beach, literal 10 more steps than the “ocean front” houses. Community pool was the perfect temperature and so clean. Property staff were onsite daily, but not too early or too late as to cause a disturbance. "We stay here every year because it is so amazing. Veda and Bill and so accommodating and the Inn is so beautiful. Breakfast is an added bonus because it is always amazing as well. The Inn is also so close to the beach, restaurants and anything you would want to do. "

The Corolla room had a perfect private balcony and was the best spot for a short beach trip with my dog. The owners left out snacks for breakfast and happy hour which was the sweetest touch!
