"This was our first stay here . We were impressed by the location and the property. The room itself was cosy but we found the bed too small but really comfy . The only downside was the creaking floorboards outside are room which woke us when the late night guests returned to their rooms . Overall a great stay ."

"Nothing much to complain about the property. Car park is 5 mins walk away. Bar was good and staff there was friendly, however at the reception whether it was night or day time do not think they wanted to be there. No smiles, no welcoming.. pretty poor really"

"Lovely, spacious room, with balcony, which was pleasant. We stayed on the sixth floor and really enjoyed the peace, away from the crowds and kids! The wine and Welsh cakes were a nice touch too. Breakfast was good and staff members were all excellent - professional, helpful and friendly. A very relaxing stay."

"My partner and I stayed for 1 night as a birthday gift. Our room was huge and spotless clean. The bed was great and very comfortable. However, the room was cold and despite a small fan heater the room did not heat up. The shower was over the bath and when on soaked the bathroom as no shower curtain. We had our evening meal in the bar area and it was beautiful, lots of flavour and piping hot. Not much choice on the menu and a little basic but good on price. Drinks were a bit pricey. We took advantage of the spa as guests to the hotel can use it for free. The gym was great and well equipped, the pool was lovely and I really enjoyed the sauna and steam room, it was very relaxing. Disappointed the hot tub was not working. Breakfast was a help yourself affair with a good choice of food from cereals, ham, cheese, fruit and pastries to a full cooked breakfast. There was also juice, tea and coffee. Overall we really enjoyed our stay but next time would like a warmer room please."
